Hello everyone,
Just to inform you that due to the colder weather all swimming lessons and clubs have stopped. On swimming lesson days your child will instead have an extra P.E. lesson so please ensure that they have their Charter Kit and trainers on those days.
I will asses the weather and water temperature in January and as soon as I feel it is suitable I will inform you and lessons and clubs will resume.
Have a wonderful Christmas break.
Mrs. Llewellyn

Hello everyone I hope you have had a safe Half Term break and have not been affected by the flooding.
Due to the closure of the school i would like pupils to be aware that they have not been participating in any Physical Education classes and thus need to start preparing for their return to school.
All pupils should take part in at least 20mins physical activity a day. This can include jogging, cycling, swimming or any sports/activities that make them out of breath! Older pupils may wish to practice how many press-ups and sit-ups they can do in a minute in preparation for their December tests.
It is important that pupils are continuously trying to improve their strength, stamina and core stability fitness so as to lead a healthier lifestyle. Pupils in year 3 and above will be fitness tested again in December and we would all like results to have improved!!!!!!!
Part of a healthy lifestyle must include healthy eating so for homework please try and eat five portions of fruit and vegetables each day.
Hopefully I will see you all safe and sound next week. Mrs Llewellyn.
